Forrest Galante is synonymous with nature conservation, outdoor survival and animal expertise. Growing up in Harare, Zimbabwe, Forrest harvested a life-long love of nature and animals that seemed to map out his future. After political unrest forced his family to move back to California, Forrest's involvement with nature became stronger.
Forrest Galante has caught crocodiles, swam with great white sharks, photographed venomous snakes, outsmarted a startled hippo, dodged an angry panther and had countless other adventures. His career started out in high-risk wildlife biology fieldwork, always focusing on animals staring down extinction. His approach with wildlife, passion for nature and extraordinary background has led to the development of his own television program, 'Extinct or Alive,' on Animal Planet. The show follows Forrest as he treks across the globe searching for creatures believed to be extinct.Forrest Galante
